About

In 1992, Edward Lewis established a band within a local Methodist church to create a place where people could come together through music. Over the years, the band has grown into a diverse group of community members, band directors, and active and retired musicians who share a love of performing.

Our library includes more than 2,000 musical selections, offering a wide variety of musical experiences that make participation in the band both enjoyable and rewarding.

We proudly perform throughout Volusia County, entertaining audiences at retirement communities, nursing homes, churches, universities, and special events. If you are planning an event and would like live musical entertainment, please contact us to arrange a performance.

Our repertoire includes patriotic music, marches, contemporary band arrangements, Broadway favorites, and selected classical works. The band currently has approximately 40 members, and we warmly welcome anyone with a passion for music to join us.

Daytona Beach Concert Band strives to provide quality entertainment that will accentuate the intrinsic joy of music in all members and audiences.
