John Williams Sampler by the Daytona Beach Concert Band
performed on April 13, 2024

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Robert discovered his passion for music in second grade, igniting a lifelong journey that spanned various instruments, from piano to trumpet. He pursued his education at Butler University, earning a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music K-12, marking the beginning of his teaching career. Later, he furthered his education with a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University Southeast.

Throughout his career, Robert dedicated himself to teaching instrumental music across all grade levels while directing Marching, Concert, Pop, and Jazz Bands. His commitment to music extended beyond the classroom, as he actively performed with local community bands in every community he called home.

Besides his musical pursuits, Robert enjoys swimming, gardening, and exploring new destinations through travel.
