Because of Covid 19 outbreak:

ALL PERFORMANCE HAVE BEEN CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

April 10 (Friday) 6:00 PM Bishop’s Glenn Senior Living

May 17 (Sunday) 3:00 PM Daytona Beach Bandshell

The Daytona Beach Concert Band welcomes you to its Patriotic Concert for the season. We will be playing many favorites from past to present pared with some early folk music, which reflect the development of our culture through the years. Going back in time to the Civil War we present some of the stirring music that memorializes the sacrifice and bravery from our country's most terrible war. An exciting rendition of "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" will convey the chaos and joy of the time. There will be a tribute to the men and women who serve or have served in our armed services by playing the traditional music that represents their branch of service.

A contemporary vocal arrangement of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" is included as well as music from Andrew Lloyd Weber's Broadway plays. Of course, what would an American Concert be without marches? Our program will conclude with the all American favorite, "Stars and Stripes Forever."

Join us and be proud to be an American!
